Description
These crispy tortilla-wrapped pizza rolls are a quick and easy snack packed with cheesy, pepperoni goodness! Made in the air fryer, they come out golden brown, crunchy, and delicious—perfect for game days, after-school snacks, or a fun twist on pizza night!
Ingredients
- 8 soft taco-size flour tortillas
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) package of full-size sliced pepperoni (10 slices per roll)
- 8 string cheese, at room temperature
- 2–3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
1️⃣ Assemble the pizza rolls:
- Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce at the bottom of a flour tortilla, leaving ¼ inch at the edge.
- Lay 10 slices of pepperoni on top of the sauce.
- Place one string cheese on top of the pepperoni.
- Carefully and tightly roll up the tortilla and lay it seam-side down.
- Repeat for the remaining pizza rolls.
2️⃣ Preheat the air fryer:
- Remove the air fryer basket and lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-4 minutes.
3️⃣ Brush & cook:
- Use a pastry brush to lightly coat the tops of the pizza rolls with olive oil.
- Lay 3-4 pizza rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a little space between them.
4️⃣ Air fry:
- Cook for 9-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
5️⃣ Serve & enjoy:
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
