  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A hearty and comforting slow-cooked meal with tender chicken smothered in a rich, flavorful gravy. Perfect for an easy and satisfying dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 packets of chicken gravy mix (0.87 oz each)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can chicken broth (14.5 oz)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Crockpot: Lightly spray the inside of the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

2️⃣ Season the Chicken: Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder over the chicken breasts and place them in the crockpot.

3️⃣ Make the Gravy: In a small bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard until smooth.

4️⃣ Cook Low and Slow: Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours (or HIGH for 3-4 hours).

5️⃣ Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is tender, remove it from the crockpot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix well with the gravy.

6️⃣ Serve and Enjoy: Spoon the flavorful chicken and gravy over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes for a delicious, comforting meal!

Notes

For extra creaminess, stir in ½ cup sour cream before serving.
Want more flavor? Add 1 teaspoon onion powder or ½ teaspoon smoked paprika to the seasoning.
Leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for later.
