Description

This delicious dorito delight casserole is a fantastic dish that’s sure to impress. Made with “party size” bag of nacho cheese doritos, 1½-2 pounds ground beef, and 1 10¾ ounce can of cheddar cheese soup, it combines great flavors and textures for a memorable meal.

  • 14 ounce “party size” bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 10¾ ounce can of cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 10¾ ounce can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 12 ounce can of evaporated milk
  • 1 4 ounce small can of diced green chilies
  • 23 cups shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning (optional)
  • Sour cream
  • Diced green onion
  • Sliced cherry tomatoes
  • Sliced Avocado or guacamole
  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. In a large pan, brown the ground beef and then drain the fat. If you are using taco seasoning, add it to the meat at this point.
  3. Combine the cheddar cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, evaporated milk, and diced green chilies into the ground beef.
  4. Stir this mixture over medium heat until it is bubbly.
  5. Prepare a baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray.
  6. Place half of the bag of chips at the bottom of the baking dish, crumbling them slightly (not too much).
  7. Spoon half of the meat mixture over the chips.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top. Add more cheese if desired.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining chips, meat mixture, and cheese.
  10. Bake the casserole for approximately 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
