For the chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

For the noodles:

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Season the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2️⃣ Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3️⃣ Cook the noodles: In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, whole milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer.

4️⃣ Add the noodles: Stir in the egg noodles and cook uncovered for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

5️⃣ Finish the dish: Lower the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

6️⃣ Serve: Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the creamy noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
