Ingredients
- 1 lb bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
Drain any excess grease and return the beef to the skillet.
Prepare the Sauce
Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the honey BBQ sauce, ranch seasoning, sour cream, and milk. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
Assemble the Casserole
Transfer the pasta and beef mixture to the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley, green onions, or a drizzle of extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, top with crispy fried onions or crushed tortilla chips before baking.
- Use pepper jack or mozzarella cheese for a different flavor twist.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
