  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, cheesy, and incredibly tender baked chicken dish featuring Parmesan and mayo—so easy and flavorful, it literally melts in your mouth!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup full-fat mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version!)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:

  • Place the chicken breasts in a lightly greased baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced and not overlapping.

3️⃣ Make the Creamy Mixture:

  • In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.

4️⃣ Coat the Chicken:

  • Spread the creamy Parmesan mixture evenly over each chicken breast using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

5️⃣ Bake:

  • Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  • Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer.

6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm with steamed veggies, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Want extra crunch? Mix in ½ cup of panko breadcrumbs with the Parmesan before baking!
  • Make it spicy! Add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes for a little kick.
  • Swap it up! Use Greek yogurt instead of mayo for a lighter, tangy version.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
