Two-Ingredient Lemon Bars

  • Author: Andrew Recipes

Description

These Two-Ingredient Lemon Bars are an incredibly quick and easy dessert. The tangy lemon flavor from the cake mix combined with the buttery, soft crust makes for a delicious treat that’s perfect for any occasion. With minimal ingredients and no complicated steps, these bars are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without much effort.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box of lemon cake mix
1/2 cup of melted butter

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan, preferably 8×8 inches, with butter or non-stick spray.

Prepare the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon cake mix with the melted butter. Stir until the mixture forms a dough-like consistency.

Press the dough into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom.

Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and serve: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares. Enjoy them as a simple, tangy treat!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can dust the cooled bars with powdered sugar before serving. If you like a more intense lemon flavor, you can add a bit of lemon zest or a splash of lemon juice to the dough mixture.
